Cultural studies, a politically engaged postdisciplinary, exposes social phenomena. It reveals, " ideology, class structures, national formations, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, and generation." It was initiated by Britishers in the late 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. 

Feminist Theory: An extension and philosophical discourse, It's emerged through A Vindication of the Rights of Woman by Mary Wollstonecraft, "The Changing Woman", "Ain't I a Woman", "Speech after Arrest for Illegal Voting", and so on. "The Changing Woman." In 1851, Sojourner Truth addressed women's rights issues through her publication, "Ain't I a Woman".
